The call for vigilance in the face of Covid-19 pandemic remains extremely relevant. We appreciate the various measures that the Malaysian government has implemented and imposed in order to contain the spread of it, for instance, making mask-wearing mandatory at public places.

In view of it, we delivered boxes of mask to several non governmental organisations in Seberang Perai to support the local community centres and the needy ones.

First stop, Persatuan Untuk Kanak-Kanak Terencat Akal S.P., a non-profit centre in Butterworth that provides basic education, living skills and welfare aids for mentally retarded children.

Second, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Da Zhi Jiang Tang in Taman Kimsar, Prai, that provides shelter and care for single mothers and orphans.

Third, Persatuan Yee Ran Jing Sheh near Auto City, a centre that accommodates children with special needs.

This is an unprecedented time in our days where looking out and supporting one another in our community warms the hearts of many and gives us strength to carry on.
